Citizen sought for the CCU

The Town is looking for a Rosemère resident wishing to sit on its Comité consultatif d’urbanisme (CCU – Urban Planning Advisory Committee). This position is open to individuals who have a good knowledge of the territory as well as a level of expertise in the areas of architecture, design and urban planning, or an interest in these three fields. A set fee of $75 is paid for each meeting attended.

The CCU meets once a month, Wednesday mornings at 8 a.m. for an average of 2 hours. Occasionally, it also holds special meetings. Its mission is to make recommendations with regards to applications for minor dispensations and site planning and architectural integration plans (SPAIP). It also studies any issue dealing with urban planning or development submitted by the Municipal Council, to which it then presents its recommendations.

The deadline for submitting your candidacy is 5 p.m., May 28. To this end, please send your curriculum vitae along with a short letter explaining your motivation to Nathalie Legault by email at nlegault@ville.rosemere.qc.ca or by mail to 100 Charbonneau Street, Rosemère, Québec J7A 3W1. A selection committee will choose potential candidates for an interview, then forward its recommendations to the Municipal Council.
