ROSEMÈRE ENHANCES CITIZENS’ EXPERIENCE

Rosemère is taking its residents’ citizenship experience to new heights with the launch of Voilà!, a free mobile app that makes it possible to forward a request to the Town, or alert it to a problem, in real time, using a smart phone or tablet.    

Developed by PG Solutions, a Boisbriand firm, the Voilà! app allows citizens to make the Town aware of non-urgent problems such as potholes, broken streetlights, graffiti, etc. They can also submit suggestions or questions on a host of topics such as communication tools, various pick-ups and much more. As pointed out by PG Solutions, the power of Voilà! lies with its users. For example, the more of them report the same problem, the faster the municipality can identify the required work and carry out repairs.  

This online service is already available on the Town’s website. With the addition of the Voilà! app, the Town now extends and strengthens this practice on all platforms used by the public. You can download Voilà! from the App Store (iPhone and iPad) and Google Play (Android units).    

"While it goes without saying that the telephone, email and regular mail remain valid tools, electronic transmission is both faster and more efficient. The Town of Rosemère is falling into step with an experiential trend in companies and public organizations, i.e., enhancing the client experience. While a company’s objective may be to foster sales and ensure customer loyalty, the goal for a town like ours is to use digital tools to ensure our citizens’ satisfaction with municipal services,” concluded Rosemère mayor Madeleine Leduc.
