From August 9 to October 11 inclusively, the municipal library’s parking lot will be home to the 8th edition of Rosemère’s Farmers’ Market, a highly popular event held Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Some fifteen local producers and artisans will be on hand to help you discover their know-how! This market is open to the general public, inviting visitors to enjoy the pleasures of summer while tasting fresh farm products and taking in different forms of entertainment with family and friends.

Children can enjoy puppet shows, test their skills in circus workshops and be transformed at make-up sessions. Saturday, August 16, inflatable structures will make their appearance, followed by a pony carrousel on Saturday, September 13. And let’s not forget Saturday, August 23 when various Rosemère associations hold their Open Houses. The day will also feature impressive hip-hop demonstrations by dancers of the Propulsionschool.  Bringing the season to a close, youngsters will get to decorate cupcakes on Saturday, October 4 and pumpkins on Saturday, the 11th.

"The Farmers’ Market is much more than just a place to buy fresh produce.  It’s a festive happening that celebrates the Rosemère family and promotes the importance of supporting local producers and artisans.  Every edition surprises me with its beautiful discoveries and delights me with the quality of the products its merchants offer us. I invite all of our residents as well as citizens from neighbouring towns to drop by!” concluded Rosemère’s mayor, Madeleine Leduc.
