  • Christmas and New Year’s (December 23 noon to December 26 / December 31, 2021 to January 3, 2022)

Loan Service

Membership allows subscriber to borrow up to 16 documents for a period of three weeks with a maximum of 4 CDs, 4 DVDs, 4 audio books and a board game.

For any document returned late, a charge of $0.10 per day, per document and a charge of $0.25 per day for board games will apply.

Telephone or online reservation and renewal

Any document in circulation can be reserved. A maximum of four reservations per user. The subscriber has 86 hours to take possession of the reserved document.

A document can be renewed at the counter, by telephone or online, unless it has been reserved by another member. No late document can be renewed by telephone. Maximum of two renewals.


Loans between libraries

It is possible to borrow documents from other libraries in the region or the Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec, subject to availability.

A maximum of two documents can be borrowed at one time.


Reader and reference assistance

Qualified personnel introduce members to the library’s operations, providing them with support and advice in their research or steering them to other professional or institutional resources.

Computer laboratory

At the loans counter or by telephone, adult and child members and non-members can reserve a computer station providing access to countless virtual resources including the Internet, office systems software and multiple databases.

A maximum of two hours per session.
