All Your Info In One Spot!

The Town of Rosemère is proud to unveil its brand-new digital platform known as Voilà! Rosemère. Compatible with mobile devices and web browsers, the secure, user-friendly app lets residents access a wide range of important civic information all in one place.

Residents simply need to download the app to their smart phone or tablet and create a user profile with their home address. They can then personalize their profile settings to indicate which information and notifications they wish to receive. For example, they may choose to be alerted in the case of a municipal emergency, obtain curbside pickup service reminders, view the Town’s municipal calendar to stay abreast of activities that interest them and keep up to date on the latest community news. They can also use the app to check their property tax bill, apply for permits and flag non-urgent concerns (potholes, faulty street lights, etc.). Plus, they can answer municipal surveys to make sure their voice on various topics of interest is heard.

Download the Voilà! app from your smartphone or tablet from the App Store (IPhone) or Google Play (Android) to create your profile now!

     

Then choose the Town of Rosemère from the list of cities.


Are you ready to use Voilà! ?

      




  
1. In the App Store (IPhone) or Google Play (Android), search for the Voilà! app and download it.



2. In the app, start by choosing Town of Rosemère on clicking on the "Select an organization" button. 3. Click on "Register" to create your profile.4. Fill the fields and click on "Next".
5. Enter your address in the field circled in red. First enter your civic address, then your street. 
Eg. 100 RUE CHARBONNEAU
Follow the next steps.
6. You can indicate your preferred language, or synchronize  your personal calendar to the one in Voilà.

If you press on the "Profile" field where your email appears, you can add the Tax Account associated with your property. 
7. Press on the 3 horizontal lines to add the Tax Account to your address. Make sure you have in hand your invoice number (series of 9 characters beginning with 0FA) and the amount of your first instalment. 8. Then go back to the menu to identify your preferences. You will be able to choose what type of notifications you wish to receive.

And... Voilà!

 

Your Profile:

Go to your profile settings to select your preferred language and activate notifications on your mobile device.

View Your Property Tax Bill:

The secure and easy-to-use Voilà! platform lets you access your property tax bill electronically. To set up this service, you’ll need the paper copy of your tax bill for the current year.

Instructions:

1. Click on the “Property” tab.

2. Make sure your Voilà! account is matched with your address. If this has not already been done, click on the blue + and enter your address, starting with your civic number. From the drop-down list that appears, select the proper address so it can be saved in the system.

3. Once your address is entered, click on the three horizontal lines beside it. Then click on the blue + to add your tax bill. Enter your invoice number (9characters starting with 0FA). Then add the amount of the first remittance and continue.

News, Calendar and Notifications:

News: Get the latest community news in real time on the Voilà! portal or through notifications on your mobile device. Go to your “Preferences” menu and select the categories you wish to be kept informed about.

Calendar: See all community events and important dates at a glance. Go to your “Preferences” menu and select the categories of events you wish to be kept informed about under the “Calendar” tab.

Notifications: Stay informed with notifications on your mobile device or in your email inbox. Go to your “Preferences” menu and select the categories you wish to be kept informed about. Note that you cannot opt out of emergency alerts (boil water advisories, emergency measures, etc.).

Online Requests:

You can apply for a permit or advise the Town of a non-urgent concern (potholes, faulty street lights, etc.).

Permits:

1. Select “Online Requests” from the menu.

2. Click on the “Permits” icon.

3. Select the desired permit type from the list.

4. Follow the instructions and complete the specified fields.

5. Note that you can view your request history from the “Online Requests” page.

Requests:

1. Select “Online Requests” from the menu.

2. Click on the “Requests” icon.

3. At Step 1, you have the option of uploading a picture to show the nature and location of the subject of your request.

4. At Step 2, select the nature of the request.

5. At Step 3, you can add a description and indicate the exact location.

6. A tracking number will be issued for follow-up purposes. You can also check the status of your request in the history of the “Online Requests” page.


How can I change or view my profile?

From the portal (on your computer): Click on the blue circle at the top right of the screen. Select “Profile”. From here, you can view or change your profile details.

From the app (on your mobile device): Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen and select “Profile”. From here, you can view or change your profile details.


How do I logout?

From the portal (on your computer): Click on the blue circle at the top right of the screen, then select “Logout” from the menu.

From the app (on your mobile device): Click on the three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen and select “Profile”. Click on the field where you see your email address, then select the logout option at the top right corner of the screen.


I’ve misplaced my password. How do I reset it?

On the login page, click “Forgot Password”. Enter the email address you used to create your account and click on “Confirm.”

An automated email will be sent to you with a link that will allow you to change your password. Enter the answer to your security question and then provide a new password.


How can I opt in to or opt out of certain types of notifications?

If you no longer wish to receive any notifications, click on the three horizontal lines at the top right of the screen and select “Profile.” Tick or untick the “Notifications” box to enable or disable all notifications.

To receive some notifications but not others, go to the “Preferences” tab in the main menu and make your selection according to category (activities and events, curbside pickups, public consultations, etc.).


How do I pair my tax account to my address?

1. Click on the “Property” tab.

Can I pay my taxes through the app?

Not at this point. The app is currently only for viewing your property tax account.


Can I opt out of receiving a paper tax bill and receive my statement electronically instead?

For the moment, the Town does not offer this option.


Can I use Voilà! to sign up for recreational activities?

From the portal (on your computer): On the home page, select “Useful Links” at the top of the page, in the middle. Click on “Recreation Registrations” to be redirected to the registration site.

From the app (on your mobile device): From the main menu, select the last tab from the list (“Recreation Registrations”). You will be redirected to the registration site.
