At the May 10 public Council meeting, the Town of Rosemère tabled its financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2020, along with the independent auditors' report, in accordance with the Cities and Towns Act.
The financial statements show a non-consolidated surplus of $3,445,800, representing 10.7% of the operating budget. This budget surplus is due, in part, to prudent, rigorous management of public finances in addition to non-recurring and variable cost items, including COVID 19.
In accordance with the values of proximity, transparency and dialogue advocated by the Town's Administration, the presentation of the financial statements is available on our website, in the form of a user-friendly video, so that as many residents as possible can view them.
