Culture Days: stained glass workshop and Ritournelle show

Stained glass workshop
Time: noon – 4:30 p.m.

Ritournelle family show: Music and songs from New France
In period costumes, two performers will revive the songs and music that livened up the days of the first families who came to settle in New France. To set the pace for workers in the various trades, to provide entertainment at parties and mark the major events in their lives, our ancestors brought their songs and instruments from the old countries. Our great grandparents played and sang these for their children, who kept them in their memories like a big secret to share... Just as in the villages of yesteryear, youngsters and grown-ups are invited to take part!
Time: 2 p.m.
Registration required at 450 621-3500, ext. 7221
