At the Mayor's Breakfast on April 23, the Wheel of Caring was officially opened by the Mayor and Town Councilors in attendance.
Inspired by the "Wheel of Fortune", the Wheel of Caring was designed and manufactured by the Atelier communautaire d'ébénisterie de Rosemère (ACER), a non-profit organization directed by Mr. Normand Painchaud.
The wheel will be divided up into 18 wedges, each of which will be used to list some simple ways Rosemerites can contribute to a more caring community.
The wheel is currently available in the library and will be moved to Floreat Pavilion for the summer, where it will contain more environmentally friendly actions. In September, the wheel should be in the schools for students to make good use of.
