Outdoor activities: New Agreement for Rosemerites

ROSEMÈRE, November 11, 2020 – The Town of Rosemère is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Parc du Domaine Vert to provide Rosemerites with free access to cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, walking and fat bike trails.

"Outdoor activities are popular with our residents and we are delighted to be able to give them access to a number of groomed trails so that they can enjoy the pleasures of winter," stated Mayor Eric Westram.

Parc du Domaine Vert, located in Mirabel, has a dozen cross-country ski trails, two walking trails, four snowshoeing trails and two fat bike trails. Residents also have access to the sliding hill and the oval ice rink.

This free access applies only to families and individual residents. School, corporate and institutional groups are required to pay the entrance fee. Residents who have already purchased their pass for the 2020-2021 season will be refunded.

Although the cross-country skiing agreement with the former Golf Club could not be renewed, this new agreement offers a greater variety of outdoor activities for the whole family in an environment specifically designed for these purposes.
