Rosemère Unveils Its 2024-2030 Strategic Plan: Naturally Responsible
With renewed pride and ambition, the Town of Rosemère adopted its new Strategic Plan for 2024 to 2030 on May 13. This ambitious roadmap aims to shape the municipality's future by prioritizing community well-being, the environment and the local economy.
Resulting from a consultation and reflection process within the MADA – Families initiative (2021-2023) and through the Urban Development Vision process (2018-2020), the Town has outlined its future development path for the community.
“We are embarking on a new era for our municipality, marked by a collective will for progress and commitment to the values we hold dear,” stated Mayor Eric Westram, highlighting the active participation of citizens in the creation of this shared vision.
The 2024-2030 Strategy is divided into seven major aspirations, broken down into 19 innovative and promising projects aimed at significantly enriching the citizens' living environment. The clear objective is to create a welcoming and dynamic environment that meets the current and future needs of the community while enhancing the exceptional quality of the territory. Titled Naturally Responsible, it reflects Rosemère's commitment to protecting, evolving, and leaving a quality environment to a responsible community.
"Our mission is to create a harmonious and attractive living environment, where the well-being of our community and the respect for our environment guide our actions," says the mayor. "This initiative aims to pass on to future generations a precious legacy of responsibility, innovation, and sustainable prosperity."
The municipality invites all citizens to actively participate in this collective endeavor and contribute to the realization of this ambitious vision. Only a general mobilization will make it possible to transform these aspirations into tangible and beneficial realities for everyone. An information evening on strategic planning will be organized for the town’s stakeholders in the fall of 2024.
