Terms of contestation

All statements of offence (tickets) must be contested within thirty days from the date of issue.

The joint municipal court of Rosemère perceives and hears the statements of offense issued on the territory of the towns of Rosemère and Lorraine.

A notice of hearing will be sent to you informing you of the place, date and time where you must appear at the municipal court. The common court of the Town of Rosemère sits on Tuesdays.

If you wish, you may proceed by videoconference via the TEAMS platform. This will allow you to have your trial live with the judge and the prosecutor. However, you must be available approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled time of your trial.
