Another milestone reached
Public Consultation on the PPU Concordance Bylaws

On April 27, the Town of Rosemère held a public consultation, in accordance with the Land Use Planning and Development Act, to present the concordance bylaws for the Special Planning Program (PPU) for the regional hub.

The Town wishes to thank all citizens who took the time to attend this meeting and share their thoughts. Citizen input plays a key role in shaping our living environment. Discussions focused on important topics such as greening, regulations regarding multi-level parking, as well as criteria related to mobility and environmental performance.

Next Steps
Adjustments to the draft bylaws will be made in May with a view to their adoption this spring. Then, in the summer, the bylaws will be approved by the Thérèse-De Blainville MRC and will come into effect within 120 days of their submission by the Town.

Everything you need to know about the project
We invite citizens to visit the project’s dedicated website at https://citoyen.ville.rosemere.qc.ca/project-ppu. There, they can view the presentation from April 27, as well as the briefs received as part of this public consultation.

About the PPU
The Special Planning Program (PPU) is a component of the Urban Plan that allows for greater precision in the planning of certain strategic sectors. In the context of bylaw 24-02 of the Thérèse-De Blainville MRC, which came into force on January 21, 2025, this PPU establishes the guidelines that will steer the development of the regional hub towards 2040.
