Seniors aged 85 years and older (born in 1936 or earlier) can make appointments on the Quebec government website to get vaccinated against COVID-19. A caregiver 70 years of age or older who accompanies a person who is 85 years of age or older to a vaccination appointment may get the vaccine at the same time if this person meet all the criteria.
In order to support seniors who would have no means of transportation, the Town of Rosemère has decided to enhance its TAXIBUS offer and has added the centre de prélèvement de Blainville to the list of approved destinations.
It is therefore possible to take advantage of the TAXIBUS service to go to the centre de prélèvement de Blainville to receive your vaccine and then return to your home.
This service is offered at the modest cost of $1.00 to go / $1.00 to return, payable to the driver.
In order to use this service, you must follow the following steps:
- 1) Make your appointment to the centre de prélèvement de Blainville
TAXIBUS service is available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
An appointment must be made prior to centre de prélèvement de Blainville then make your reservation for the TAXIBUS.
It is important to note that centre de prélèvement de Blainville is the only center added to the list. It is therefore not possible to use the TAXIBUS for an appointment at another vaccination center in the area.
Appointments for vaccination must be booked online: https://www.quebec.ca/en/health/health-issues/a-z/2019-coronavirus/progress-of-the-covid-19-vaccination/
