Gardening activities

The Town of Rosemère is proud to announce the return of its community gardens! In fact, amateur gardeners will be able to grow fruits and vegetables, thanks to the renewal of agreements with two educational institutions in Rosemère: Externat Sacré-Coeur and Val-des-Ormes School. There are raised bins located at Val-des-Ormes School and gardening spaces located on the City's land behind the Externat Sacré-Coeur made available to the population.

If these community gardens interest you, you can register online starting Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 10 a.m., by clicking here.

Have your Citizen's Card valid for the duration of the summer. The gardens are free.  Limited space.

A Cuttings Library will be officially launched on Earth Day, April 22.

The principle is simple and based on the benevolence of the community: exchange, throughout the year, your unused cuttings.

Don't miss the launch of our new seed library on Monday, March 1st.

The Seed Library is a newly accessible collection for library members. Its purpose is to introduce you to gardening or to allow you to try your luck with unexpected varieties.

The concept is simple: you "borrow" seeds from the library, then let nature work its magic and you "bring" the seeds back to the library.

The seeds are free!
