About the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE)

In line with its strategic vision, "Rosemère, a proud, green and prosperous town," the Town of Rosemère established the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE) in June 2019.

The CCE's main mandate is to ensure the enhancement and promotion of the green vision of the Town of Rosemère. It provides recommendations to Town Council on activities, projects or directions to adopt, taking into account the three components of sustainable development: environmental (air, water and soil), social and economic.

The CCE is made up of five citizens recruited for their significant expertise in environmental and sustainable development issues and acting in a volunteer capacity, the Mayor, the General Manager, two elected officials and a Town professional.

The current members of the CCE are:
  • Mr. Robert Farand
  • Mr. Claude Jourdain
  • Mr. Alain Dessureault
