Green Fund

Recommended by the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE), the Green Fund's objective is to collect donations to finance community-proposed projects related to the enhancement and promotion of the Town of Rosemère's green vision.

In order to make this fund grow, the Town of Rosemère is committed to matching every dollar donated by residents, up to a maximum of $25,000 for the year 2021. With this commitment, the Town is once again taking concrete action to carry out innovative projects in order to protect the environment on its territory. A fund by Rosemerites, for Rosemerites!

There will also be an opportunity to submit ideas for green projects to beautify, green or protect your community to the CCE. More details will be announced soon.

About the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE)

In line with its strategic vision, "Rosemère, a proud, green and prosperous town," the Town of Rosemère established the Civic Committee on the Environment (CCE) in June 2019.

The CCE's main mandate is to ensure the enhancement and promotion of the green vision of the Town of Rosemère. It provides recommendations to Town Council on activities, projects or directions to adopt, taking into account the three components of sustainable development: environmental (air, water and soil), social and economic.

The CCE is made up of five citizens recruited for their significant expertise in environmental and sustainable development issues and acting in a volunteer capacity, the Mayor, the General Manager, two elected officials and a Town professional.

The current members of the CCE are:
  • Mr. Robert Farand
  • Mr. Claude Jourdain
  • Ms. Joanne Lafond
  • Ms. Jasmine Lail
  • Mrs. Émilie Lapalme-Gendron
  • Mr. Eric Westram, Mayor of the Town of Rosemère

  • Ms. Marie-Hélène Fortin, Sector 1 Councillor
  • Mr. René Villeneuve, Sector 4 Councillor
