New Director in Town of Rosemère’s Clerk Division
The Town of Rosemère is pleased to announce the arrival of Catherine Blais-Adam as Director of Legal Services and the Clerk Division, on July 6, 2020, following a rigorous selection process.
Mrs. Blais-Adam has always worked in the municipal field since becoming a member in good standing of the Ordre du Barreau du Québec. A manager recognized by her peers, her strategic vision and leadership will be an asset to the entire Rosemère community.
"Mrs. Blais-Adam has all the skills needed to brilliantly meet the challenges of this position for the benefit of our community. Her expertise within the municipal community, combined with that of all the employees in the Clerk Division, is a valuable asset to our organization," stated Guy Benedetti, Rosemère's Town Manager.
Mrs. Blais-Adam has been the Chair of the Youth Committee of the Corporation des officiers municipaux du Québec (COMAQ) since May 2020, and a member of that committee since 2017. This committee is made up of members age 35 and under, whose mission includes promoting the municipal world to the next generation. Also Vice-President of COMAQ Section 10 from 2018 to 2020, representing the regional network linking members on the island of Montréal and Laval, Catherine Blais-Adam has succeeded in maximizing the many opportunities for meetings, exchanges and training with her peers from the municipal sector. The combination of her various professional experiences has enabled her to acquire expert knowledge of municipal legal and political issues.
