Large item pick-up
- No need to call; place your large items by the side of the street after 6 p.m. on the eve of pick-up day.
- Large items: anything that cannot be recycled and whose dimensions do not exceed 3 m by 1.80 m. Example: mattresses, sofas, furniture, chairs. No waste from regular pick-ups (garbage, recycling, organic waste) will be collected during the large items pick-up.
- However, since household appliances, hot water heaters and anything else made of metal are recyclable, contact the Public Works Department to have them picked up.
- Items refused are: construction materials, TV, wood, concrete, asphalt, hazardous domestic waste (HDW), computer equipment and objects that are too heavy (the pick-up is done by 2 persons).
