Public Participation Workshops on Housing Policy: Constructive Discussions with Residents Aged 55 and Older

The Town of Rosemère is developing its very first housing policy. The goal is to establish a clear framework for housing to guide future projects, specify the types of buildings desired, and ensure that future housing meets the current and future needs of Rosemère residents.

It was in this context that citizen engagement workshops were held on April 15 with the 55-and-over age group. The substantive discussions focused on desired housing types, local services, mobility and transportation, spaces and amenities, and, finally, social life and community atmosphere.

The Town Council extends its warmest thanks to all participants.

The Town would like to remind everyone that the entire population can participate in this initiative by completing the online survey, which closes on April 17.
