Climate change is no longer a distant concern. More frequent heat waves, heavier rainfall and increasingly severe weather events are already affecting our community. To better protect its territory and preserve the quality of life of current and future generations, the Town of Rosemère is presenting its 2026-2030 Plan to fight and adapt to climate change and is beginning to implement it.

Developed through a collaborative process involving municipal departments, experts and residents, this first plan serves as a roadmap for the next five years. It includes 50 concrete measures aimed at improving stormwater management, reducing urban heat islands, protecting biodiversity, promoting sustainable mobility and raising public awareness of climate issues.

Because climate action is a shared responsibility, the success of the Plan will depend not only on the Town's initiatives, but also on the commitment of residents, community organizations and partners. Read the Plan highlights to learn how, together, we can build a greener, more resilient community that is better prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
