The structural tubes and tarp for a temporary car shelter (one per address) are allowed to be up between November 1 and May 1.
Shelters may not be installed anywhere but on a driveway or an access lane. They must be at least 6’6’’ (2 m) from the outer edge of a sidewalk, street, ditch or fire hydrant so as not to interfere with snow clearing operations.
The Town is not responsible for any damages if this setback is not respected. Do not install any closer than 3’3’’ (1 m) from a side boundary to avoid snow falling onto a neighbouring property. Car shelters are also subject to a maximum height restriction of 10’ (3 m).
Snow shelters must not at any time hamper visibility on the road.
