Quite recently, employees assigned to the Town of Rosemère’s parks and green spaces found emerald ash borers in most of the traps set in every sector of its territory.

In light of this highly worrisome situation, the Town recommends the treatment of healthy ash trees that are free of symptoms that would indicate the presence of this insect.

Having a preventive treatment applied by a specialized firm every two years is therefore recommended. The first treatment must be applied before the end of August.

To locate one of these firms, go to www.bioforest.ca/serviceproviders/.
