Pool opening deadline postponed to June 1st

Given the poor weather of recent days and flooding in various parts of Rosemère, the deadline for opening pools is postponed to June 1st.
The Town also reminds you that the purpose of this by-law is to counter the proliferation of mosquitoes that reproduce quickly in stagnant water, as well as protect young children and other vulnerable individuals from diseases such as the West Nile virus transmitted by these stinging insects.
Remember that your pool must be accessible to the green patrol, allowing them to check on its condition. If pool water is not treated, a notice will be issued to the property owner who will have 10 days from the date of the notice to carry out the required maintenance. Plan ahead!
Should you have any questions regarding pool maintenance, contact the Public Works Department at 450 621-3500, ext. 3300.
