The PAIR program saved my life!

Registered with the Pair program since last fall, a 79-year old Rosemère resident recently got to fully appreciate the effectiveness of this service.

At 1:45 a.m., January 11, 2015, she lost her footing while getting out of bed and fell face down on the floor. Unable to get up, she remained in that position until her morning PAIR call.

When she failed to answer her daily call, despite three attempts to reach her, at 8 a.m., the alarm was triggered at the RIPTB station. Someone close to her was contacted and was able to summon emergency services. "When I heard the phone ring, I was relieved; I knew I help was on the way!”

Should you have any questions regarding this program or wish to register, contact Officer Chantal Lefebvre of the Prevention Division at 450 435-2421, ext. 3502.
