Update of March 17 - COVID-19
Please take note of the following information in addition to the measures announced in the last few days:
- Municipal Court: Following a decision by the Department of Justice, all files from the March 24 Municipal Court will be postponed, with the exception of criminal matters. Any defendant in this file must appear or be represented by a lawyer. It should be noted that the court session will be closed to the public. For any questions, we ask that you contact the Municipal Court Service BEFORE coming to the counter at 450 621-3500, ext. 1247 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Library: During this period when the library is closed, no late fees will be added. Citizens may therefore keep the documents until the library reopens.
- 211 services for seniors: The Town reminds citizens that 211 service is available for seniors in the Greater Montréal area. This socio-community referral telephone line, available every day from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., helps fight isolation, poverty and social exclusion by enabling citizens to find and learn about community and social services adapted to their needs. www.211qc.ca/
- Public Transit: Exo's public transit service is still in operation, and rest assured that the cleaning frequency has been significantly increased as of last week. Exo and its suppliers continue to apply them rigorously. For more information: https://exo.quebec/fr/covid19
In closing, the Government of Quebec reiterates the importance of not holding any gatherings in order to continue our efforts to limit the spread of the virus. We invite all citizens to show their civic-mindedness by complying with these instructions. By doing our part, we will succeed, all together!
