Back-to-the-Earth Day - May 25, 2019
The next Back-to-the-Earth Day is slated for Saturday, May 25, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Town Hall parking lot.
Residents with proof of residency will be entitled to:
- 4 free bags of compost per family (additional bags sold at $4 each or 3 for $10) to fertilize your gardens.
- One free tree seedling per family, from one of the following species, subject to availability: black chokeberry, shagbark hickory, Norway spruce, sugar or Pennsylvania maple, eastern redbud, white mulberry, hybrid hazelnut, balsam fir, tulip tree. Quantities are limited.
Arbressence will have a booth with cedar mulch. A booth on the emerald ash borer will also be onsite.
New this year: two 30-minute lectures on leafcycling and grasscycling will be presented at the Town Hall at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Like every year, we look forward to a large turnout of Rosemère residents and merchants.
