The Town of Rosemère is pleased to invite you to Citizens Day on Saturday, August24, from 4p.m. onward, at Charbonneau Park.
This year’s program features a range of fun-filled activities that are sure to appeal to attendees of all ages. Highlights will include an outdoor concert by Les Respectables and a pyrotechnic tribute to the music of Charles Aznavour.
“Citizens Day is the biggest gathering of the summer for our town,” Mayor Eric Westram was proud to say. “Residents come out with their families, their friends and their neighbours to have fun and celebrate the community. It’s no wonder the event keeps coming back year after year: it’s the very embodiment of our core values, which are centred on family, culture and youth. It’s a must for all Rosemerites!”
The program will include live entertainment, inflatable games, pontoon boat rides and more. All activities are free and will take place rain or shine, except for the fireworks display.
Town councillors will be on hand to serve up free corn on the cob between 5p.m. and 7p.m.
Be sure to bring your bathing suit and towel for the water play park, weather permitting.
