Covid-19 - Update of March 30, 2020

Appeal to your generosity: food banks need you!

In the current context, Moisson Laurentides is deploying all necessary measures to ensure food assistance to those in need. With the closing of several establishments as well as with people in isolation, requests for food aid are constantly increasing. If possible for you, Moisson Laurentides invites you to make a donation to www.moissonlaurentides.org/faire-un-don/

Food bank available

The Service d'aide St-Maurice informs you that, in line with the reality of COVID-19, the food bank is available for Rosemerites in need, every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St-Maurice Church in Bois-des-Filion. Please note that you must first register by calling 450 621-5521, ext. 231.

Reminder: Rosemerites of 70 years old and over:

If you need support during the pandemic, do not hesitate to contact us at 450 621-3500, ext. 7384, and we will be pleased to provide you with the necessary support or direct you to the right resources. Is someone you know part of this group? Don't hesitate to give him or her this number.

Thanks to the volunteers!

The Town would like to thank the citizens who responded in large numbers to the call for volunteers. This generosity demonstrates the community of mutual aid that we form in Rosemère. A huge thank you! Your involvement makes a difference!

Reminder: Do not flush your disinfectant wipes down the toilet!

Disposable disinfectant wipes are more popular than ever in this time of health crisis. Please don't flush them down the toilet! They create major problems in sewer systems by clogging sewers and causing sewer back-ups.

Reminder: Héma-Québec blood drive

Héma-Québec will be holding a blood drive on March 30, 31 and April 1, at Externat Sacré-Cœur from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Rest assured that Héma- is taking the necessary measures to provide a safe environment for everyone. By appointment only: 1 800 343-7264, option 3

Exo

Public transit has been identified as an "essential service" by the Government. Train, bus and paratransit services therefore remain operational. However, in order to adapt to a decrease in staff availability and a drop in ridership, Exo has reduced its train and bus service offer. You can consult the new schedules at https://exo.quebec/en.

In closing, we remind citizens of the importance of applying the hygiene measures recommended by the government in order to limit the risks of propagation. Every little action counts! Lives are on the line!
