Protect Yourself Against the Effects of the Hot Weather!

Protect Yourself Against the Effects of the Hot Weather!

Due to the heat wave we are facing at the present time, the Town urges you to take the necessary precautions to stay more comfortable and reduce the health risks for yourself and your loved ones. We remind you that the pool remains open as long as there is enough daylight to enable adequate supervision by the lifeguards.

Don't forget that the splashpads are accessible at Charbonneau Park from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.

We also remind you that the library is another good place to keep cool! It is open until 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

In closing, here are a few tips to help you reduce the effects of the heat:

1. Stay indoors in a cool place, if possible, and spend as much time as you can in air-conditioned places.

2. Keep well hydrated!

3. Don't forget to apply sunscreen, as sunburn increases our body temperature.

4. Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages.
