The Town of Rosemère is inviting all residents to keep track of Santa, who will be walking up and down various streets in the town next weekend.
December 5-6, Rosemerites will have a chance to watch in real time as Santa makes his way through the streets of our town, to the delight of young and old alike. To follow him, click here: https://www.ville.rosemere.qc.ca/visit-from-santa-claus-and-food-drive/
The route that Santa will take is also posted online. If Santa doesn't pass by your home, we invite you to go to a street near you to avoid gatherings and ensure physical distancing.
"All along Santa's route, we encourage you to leave bags of groceries at the curb for the most needy in the area. The Town Councillors, several volunteers and I will pick up your food and donations. With the economic impacts that the pandemic has had for a number of months, the holiday season will unfortunately be more difficult financially for many families. I am counting on your solidarity and I urge you to give generously," emphasized Rosemère Mayor Eric Westram.
Although cash donations are being collected at roadblocks and at the parade this weekend, residents are invited to make online donations through the La Ruche website, supported by Desjardins. In fact, Desjardins is committed to doubling the first $3,000 raised online. Residents have until December 20 to make their donations, which will be given to the Entraide Rosemère organization.
