Gradual reopening of the library
Good news! Starting today, Friday May 29, the library will reopen gradually and safely. Hygiene and distancing measures are being put in place to minimize the risks associated with the spread of the virus. The Town encourages citizens to wear a face cover at the library.
Return of documents:
The library will open its outside book drop on May 29 all times.
All return dates that were planned for March, April and May are postponed to July 1st.
Please do not clean the documents. They will be quarantined for 72 hours after their return from the book drop. Employees will ensure that the books are cleaned properly.
The return of the games will take place as of June 1st. A box will be placed in the library lobby during opening hours. Please do not put them in the book drop.
Pick-up service:
As of June 1st, a contactless appointment pick-up service will be set up for citizens.
Citizens will be able to start reserving documents on the library catalogue or by telephone from the same date. For the procedure, go to the Rosemère library catalogue in the Procedures tab at biblio.ville.rosemere.qc.ca.
Citizens will be contacted when their order is ready to arrange a pick up moment. They will have 72 hours to pick up the order.
A maximum of 16 items per person will be allowed.
The loan period will be extended to 4 weeks.
Ideally, only one person per residence will pick up the documents at the library.
Opening hours:
Monday and Tuesday: 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday to Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
