Are you a resident of Rosemère with expertise or a keen interest in environmental issues? The Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) is currently seeking a new member. This is a great opportunity to get involved in your community!

Its Mandate

The committee’s mandate is to provide opinions and recommendations on any environmental matters submitted to it by the municipal council. Committee members review and make recommendations on topics such as water, air, and soil protection, conservation of natural environments and waste management, among others.

In 2026, four projects will be under review:

•    Improving our natural environments

•    Inplementing ecofiscal measures

•    Drinking water source protection plan

•    Climate change mitigation and adaptation plan

A selection committee will choose potential candidates for interviews and recommendations will then be forwarded to the municipal council.

The committee meets every two months on a Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon. Please note that participation on this committee is unpaid.
