Citizen sought for the Urban Planning Advisory Committee
The Town is seeking a Rosemère resident who would like to join the Urban Planning Advisory Committee (Comité consultatif d’urbanisme-CCU). This position is open to individuals who are familiar with the area and have some expertise in architecture, design, and urban planning, or who are interested in these three fields.
The committee meets one Wednesday per month, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and at occasional special meetings. This committee's mission is to provide recommendations to the council on applications for minor dispensations and site planning and architectural integration programs (SPAIPs). It also studies any urban planning or development issues submitted by the municipal council, to which it then presents its recommendations.
The deadline to submit your application is November 28 at noon. To apply, please email your resume and a short letter explaining your motivation to Isabelle Rivest at rh@ville.rosemere.qc.ca.
A selection committee will choose potential candidates for an interview, and recommendations will then be forwarded to the council.
Please note that a sum of $75 is granted for each session attended in recognition of the participants' time and commitment.
