Any demolition of a construction or part of thereof is prohibited without an authorization certificate.
(By-law 1006 – Permits and certificates, article 39)
How to obtain an authorization certificate
For all information concerning a demolition project, please contact the Town of Rosemère's Urban Planning, Permits and Inspections Department.
Please note that complete demolition projects, as well as expansion projects involving the destruction of 33% or more of the net volume, above ground, without regard to foundations, or the demolition of more than 33% of the surface area of exterior walls, must be submitted to the procedure set out in the Règlement sur la démolition d'immeubles. To this end, the plans accompanying your permit application must show the percentage of demolition. We invite you to consult by-law 1003 - Demolition.
IMPORTANT: If the project is considered a partial demolition / reconstruction, the by-law on park fees will apply. See chapter 2 of by-law 1004.
