Golden Book signing ceremony
On November 7, RoseAnna Cirino, the Town of Rosemère's Acting Mayor, accompanied by Town Councillors René Villeneuve and Stéphanie Nantel, honoured a great volunteer and three young athletes by inviting them to sign the Town's Golden Book in recognition of their talent and perseverance. The three athletes distinguished themselves through their participation in the Jeux du Québec as well as in various provincial and national championships, while an outstanding volunteer received an award at the 2024 Recognition Awards Gala. The ceremony took place in the presence of their loved ones at the H.-J.-Hemens public library.
In her welcome address, the Acting Mayor made the following comments to the deserving recipients: "We are proud of your accomplishments and want to express our pride in a concrete way. You serve as examples for our entire population, for youngsters and adults alike, for whom you are inspiring role models. I would like to take this opportunity to also highlight the contribution of all the parents, coaches, friends and family who support and motivate our talented Rosemerites. We can only encourage you to continue your sports and community activities, which are a source of motivation and of great pride, I must mention again!" she remarked.
