Reconstruction of Île-Bélair bridge is completed
On June 27, the Ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable announced that the reconstruction of the Île Bélair bridge is now complete.
The reconstruction project involved replacing the structure with an almost entirely prefabricated factory-built structure, and adding a multi-use path linked to the municipal network to provide users with a safe active transportation link. This innovative method reduced the impact on road users and local residents, particularly in terms of the number and duration of traffic obstructions.
