Reminder: Contest - Participate in the creation of your 2026 municipal calendar!

The 2026 municipal calendar will take the form of a collective work, created with you, fellow citizens. To bring the images of this calendar to life, we're calling on your creativity! Among the artworks received, 13 will be selected to embellish the months that will unfold and the cover page.

We invite you to send us your best photo, painting or drawing* on the theme of monarchs and other Rosemère pollinators.

Whether you're a budding or experienced artist, and no matter what your age is, we want to see nature through your eyes. Show us the pollinator that inspires you, that sparks your curiosity or that you simply appreciate for its beauty.

Need inspiration for your creation?

Pollinators are insects and animals essential to our environment and the preservation of biodiversity. They include bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, bumblebees, bats, wasps, ladybugs, certain beetles and even a few flies.

Take a look at your garden, a flower box or explore your nearest park... you're sure to see one of these little creatures in action.

How to participate?

Painting or drawing: Bring your creation in person (during our opening hours) at 428-A, Grande-Côte Road, by August 22, 2025.

Photo: Send your picture by e-mail to communications@ville.rosemere.qc.ca. Photos must be taken and sent in high resolution.

Please note: To be eligible, the artwork or photo must measure 8.5 x 11 inches and be presented in landscape format (horizontal orientation).

Don't forget to include a short description of your work**:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your address
  • Your age
  • Your telephone number
  • The name or type of pollinator represented
  • A few words to explain why you chose this pollinator

This is the perfect opportunity to let your creativity shine while celebrating the biodiversity that surrounds us.

Together, let's pay tribute to nature's little heroes by creating a colorful and original calendar. Get your brushes, pencils and camera ready!

* The artwork (photo, painting or drawing) must be an original creation by the artist. No copies or reproductions of existing artworks will be accepted.

**Original artworks will be returned to the artists in Fall 2025.

This contest is open to Rosemère residents only.
