Reminder – Mayor’s breakfast and “Preventing Fraud” Conference
When: Saturday, September 13, 2025, starting at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Memorial Community Centre (202 Grande-Côte Road in Rosemère)
Don’t miss this informative and friendly morning event, offered free of charge to all Rosemère residents!
Two activities are scheduled for the morning:
-Between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., meet and chat with the mayor and municipal councillors in a friendly atmosphere (no reservations required).
-From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., take part in the "Preventing fraud" conference given by a preventionist-investigator from the Régie intermunicipale de police Thérèse-De Blainville. (Reservations recommended).
Fraud takes many forms and can affect anyone, regardless of age or status. Prevention is an essential tool for strengthening our confidence, autonomy and security on a daily basis.
In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, it's essential to understand the threats to better protect ourselves. This interactive conference aims to inform, equip and initiate dialogue with citizens. Together, let's explore how to recognize the most common frauds, distinguish theft from fraud, and get concrete advice on how to protect yourself.
