Rosemère pays tribute to three outstanding young athletes as they sign the Town’s Golden Book

On February 5, the Town of Rosemère hosted an official ceremony at the H.J. Hemens Public Library to acknowledge the remarkable accomplishments of three young Rosemerites in 2025, namely Élodie Bédard (cycling), Ellie Boudreau (snowboard cross) and Elliot Lacoursière (baseball). In the presence of their families, Mayor Marie-Elaine Pitre and Councillor Stéphanie Nantel, the young athletes added their signatures to Rosemère’s prestigious Golden Book.

“By honouring Élodie, Ellie and Elliot, we are highlighting the dedication, discipline and passion of our young people. They are an incredible source of pride for Rosemère and inspiring role models for our entire community,” said Mayor Pitre in her welcoming remarks. “Through this official recognition, the Town of Rosemère is commending these athletes not only for their performances but also for their ability to successfully balance high-level sports with academics.”
