SPP for the Rosemère Regional Hub: Efforts continue and the Public is called upon to contribute
Efforts to provide the Town with a clear vision for the redevelopment of the regional hub are continuing. Urban planning regulations have been developed since the final adoption last October of Bylaw 800-06 amending Rosemère's urban plan to incorporate the Special Planning Program for the regional hub.
These Concordance bylaws consider all the conclusions of various studies conducted by the Town as well as discussions with the community to ensure sustainable and balanced development of this strategic sector of Rosemère.
To maintain clear and transparent communication with its citizens, the Town will hold an information evening on March 23 to present an overview of the concordance bylaws. Topics to be covered will include greening, regulations regarding multi-level parking, as well as criteria related to mobility and environmental performance. The main goal of this evening is to equip citizens by providing them with all the information they need to prepare for the upcoming official public consultation in April.

About the SPP
The Special Planning Program is a component of the Urban Plan that allows for greater precision in the planning of certain strategic sectors. In the context of Regulation 24-02 of the Thérèse-De Blainville MRC, which came into force on January 21, 2025, this SPP establishes the guidelines that will steer the development of the regional hub towards 2040.
