Working together to clean up and embellish our environment: Rosemère’s Shoreline Clean-up Drive takes place on September 6!

The Town of Rosemère invites residents to participate in its “Shoreline Clean-up Drive,” which gets underway on Saturday, September 6, 2025 along the shores of the Rivière des Mille-Îles. This annual clean-up drive has been held for several years, in collaboration with neighbouring municipalities and community partners, with the goal of protecting aquatic ecosystems by helping curb waste in the region’s waterways.

Now a veritable ecological movement, the Shoreline Clean-up Drive includes the municipalities of Blainville, Boisbriand, Deux-Montagnes, Lorraine, Rosemère, Bois-des-Filion, Sainte-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, Sainte-Thérèse and Saint-Eustache, along with the Conseil des bassins versants des Mille-Îles (COBAMIL), the Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles and the Éco-Nature organization, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025! Last year, the clean-up drive collected more than 2,500 pounds of garbage in an effort to create a cleaner and more beautiful environment.

“Our waterways are collective treasures that must be protected. I applaud the growing commitment of volunteers who participate in the Shoreline Clean-up Drive. It is a concrete gesture for the environment, wildlife, and our quality of life. Thank you to the towns, partners, and everyone involved. Your participation makes a difference,” said the mayor of Rosemère, Eric Westram.

Be part of the movement!
